I specialize in dark fantasy, urban fantasy, and romance cover design, working with bestselling indie authors and publishers worldwide.
Since 2010, I've been creating cover art for self-publishing authors and indie publishers. After earning my Master of Arts in Art History in 2018, I transitioned to full-time design work in 2019. Art isn't just my profession — it's essential to who I am.
I combine traditional 3D software with digital painting techniques to create distinctive, high-quality cover art. I believe every book deserves a cover that captures its essence and attracts its ideal readers.
Each of my covers and character arts is one more story vision come to life in color and light. My work is not a literal translation but a symbolic marriage of word and art — highly symbolic, with hidden details and hints, always keeping an eye on the market and how the art will affect your readers.
My works are mainly photomontages and mixed media. I use stock photos or my own photos and paint over them with my graphics tablet, combine 3D models (self-made or altered assets), textures and fractals made with Chaotica, and vector artwork in Illustrator and Procreate.
All artwork is 100% human-made. I do not use AI image generation in my creative process — not in concepting, not in rendering, not in any stage of production. Every cover is crafted entirely by hand, with skill developed over years of dedicated practice.
When I'm not designing, you'll find me in my garden near the Bavarian forest, tending to rare plants and feeding the local wildlife — from birds and squirrels to the dormouse in our attic.
